Cut down on misted-up windscreens on cold mornings. Pop a reusable silica gel dehumidifier bag on your dashboard and it soaks up moisture from the air inside your car overnight, so there is less condensation on the glass when you get in.
When the indicator window turns from blue to pink, the bag is full. Dry it out and use it again, all winter long.
Why you'll like it
Less condensation: absorbs moisture from the air in the car, helping to reduce windscreen and window misting and musty smells.
Easy-read indicator: blue means it's working, pink means it's time to dry it out.
Reusable: refresh it in the microwave in short bursts on a medium setting, in a low oven, or by leaving it in the sun for a day or two. Let it cool before putting it back. Avoid very high temperatures.
Not just for cars: also handy in wardrobes, cupboards, caravans, boats, sheds and boot spaces.
Slim and discreet: breathable fabric bag that sits on the dashboard, under a seat or in a door pocket.
Choose your pack
1 bag (100g)
2 bags (100g each): one for the front and one for the rear window
3 bags (100g each): car, boot and wardrobe, or share with family
Good to know
Each bag holds 100g of silica gel. The supplier says each bag absorbs up to about 40g of moisture before it needs drying.
Dehumidifier bags help with everyday condensation. They won't fix a leak, wet carpets or a faulty seal.
Works best alongside your car's fresh-air and air-con settings.
Not a toy, and not food. Keep away from children and pets.
